Be like a FIREWORKS!

This music video means that while you may feel awkward and different than the rest of the crowd, you are still a unique person and should not be afraid of who you are. She is also saying that everyone is amazing in their own way and they should not be afraid to show it.

The song is really uplifting, especially with "Maybe it's the reason why all the doors are closed, so you can open one that leads you to your own". Overall, Katy is trying to tell people who feel like outsiders to not afraid to be yourself and everything will be alright.

"Try it the other way round"

A friend of mine, who enjoyed mending things, had several sayings like this:
"If it doesn't fit, try it the other way round!" and "If all else fails, look in the handbook."

Her first comment is what is sometimes called 'lateral thinking'. In other words, we should look at a question or problem from a completely different angle.

Beautiful girl: She is facing away from you, looking to the right
Ugly old woman: She is looking towards you facing right.
Called 'The Boring Figure' and first published in 1915, drawn be W. E. Hill.

Love, Love, Love...

I want to share with you one of my favorite poem. Love is the most important in the world. Imagine the world without love, how would you feel? Of course, earth will be lifeless. Because of love, we are here on earth. I believe that love is like a rosary that is full of mystery. You, how do you describe love?

Jesus

Hey guys! Look its Jesus! Try to look very closely, did you observe something? When the picture is far it looks like the head of Jesus, but when you look closely it is Jesus nailed on the cross. Is it amazing?

Old and Young - Crazy Optical Illusion

Old and Young Optical Illusion

The real beauty in this crazy picture is the attention to detail that the artist, Octavio Ocampo took. Try this: squint your eyes a little and you'll see that the man with the guitar fades away, ad the old man staring into the old woman's eyes really starts to pop out at you.
Perhaps the scariest part of this illusion is that the younger woman (not the one in the window sill but the one on the left side of the painting) has some really mean sideburns! Look out!

Also, keep looking until you find:
  • the young girl
  • the glass tequila bottle
  • the giant vase!
  • the smaller vase
  • the curtains

Happy Father's Day

Dad you are never wrong
The only time you are wrong is when you think,I forgot about you.

You've seen me laugh
You've seen me cry And always you were there with me I may not have always said it But thanks, I love you! Happy Father's Day!!!

My BestieFudge

I know every people here in the world have there own sets of friends, but every people also have there own special friends, like me. I have my very own special friend, she is Glenda. She have been my best friend for almost 5 years. We are like sisters, were ever I go, I always invite her to company me, same thing with her. I met her when I was in grade 4, I really don't like her in that time, because many rumors spread that she is "artihan". But when our teacher in Filipino asked both of us to make steps for the dance for our presentation on family day, I was forced to be with her. We were always together, and I was guilty for misjudging her. She was very funny and loyal friend. Starting that time, we become so closed, that even our mothers become closed friends also. But, of course, friendship also faced problems. We experienced lots of struggles, because we don't have the same personalities, but we faced that problems bravely, together. We never leaved each other in times of happiness and sadness. I am really thankful that God gave me such wonderful friend and sister.

My Name is Dymphna=D

Many of the people I met would usually mistaken the pronunciation of my name. Since my name is hard to pronounce, many of my friends call me in different names like "Daphny", "D","Mmm", :Dipnoy" and more. Sometimes I just laugh, they would ask me were my name came from. And did you what is my answer? "It came from a saint of Ireland, Saint Dymphna. They don't believe on what I am saying, because I am very naughty in school and a bit noisy. But it really came from a saint, REALLY.=D

I want to share with you the story of Saint Dymphna of Ireland which is my name. St. Dymphna was the daughter of a pagan Irish chief and his Christian wife in the 7th century. When she was fourteen years old, her mother died. And her father wanted to remarry that his new wife should look like Dymphna's mother. When no such woman could be found her father began to desire to marry Dymphna, because of the strong resemblance she bore to her mother. When Dymphna learned of her father's intentions she fled his court along with her confessor Father Gerebernus and two servants. Together they sailed towards the continent, eventually landing in Belgium, where they took refuge in the town of Gheel. When his father discovered their hiding place, he set out to recover his daughter. He ordered that Father Gerebernus should be killed and tried to persuade Dymphna to return with him, but she refused. Enraged, his father killed his daughter on the spot using a sword.

And there, this is the story of the origin of my name. It's a bit weird, for me, but I really love my name, and I thank my mom for giving me this wonderful name.

Signifiance of a Hand Gesture of a Heart

So, do you know the significance of a hand gesture, heart? Well, after thinking the whole night what I am going to share to you, something entered my mind that will really be a good explanation of the hand gesture, heart. Let me share it to you.                                                                                                                                 When I was lying on my bed, I saw the drawing of Jana, my classmate in school. In the drawing  there are people holding and united together, actually it is our poster for our Civics class. I really stare at the picture, while staring at it, I remember the heart gesture and I start thinking how I could connect the both. After thinking for a minute, I found the connection. As you can see in the hand gesture, heart, two hands are connecting, so that it can form heart. And it is telling us that we, as people of God we need to be connected, like the hesrt gesture. We need to be united, to achieve our objectives. Right now,we are really facing lots of problem in the world, like poverty, corruption and environmental problems, and it needs UNITY and CONNECTION, even what culture, tradition or religion you are.

For me, this is the significance of a heart gesture. We need UNITY and CONNECTION to make the world a better place to live in.=D

A Song of Inspiration

As we all know, we are facing today great poverty and problems. And poverty really affected the lives of many people. Most of the people today have no work to live their family, and sad to say many of the youth today can't study, can't eat and even no shelter to live in. Sometimes, when I was about to eat my breakfast or lunch or dinner, I would think of those people who can't eat, especially, the children. I could feel the guilt in my heart for wasting the food I am eating, while others, are starving for food. At night, I really pray for those who are affected by poverty, that they may not loose hope, for that is only a trial given by God. As what they have said, "Life is tough, but you must be tougher." To end my short message, I want to share with you a music video entitled "Pray" by Justin Bieber. This video did really inspire me to write this short, but meaningful message of love.

Independence Day??

Millions of Filipinos across the country and in other parts of the world celebrated the 113th Philippine Independence Day yesterday with colorful parades beautiful speeches and presentations reflective of the meaningful freedom of the Filipinos.
The Philippines was under the Spaniards for three centuries and a United States colony for nearly four decades .Today the Filipinos has opened a new chapter in the Philippine history, where each can reap the fruits of his labor, where laws are imposed on rich and poor alike, where everyone can carve his own destiny, where one can have freedom with honor. This is now a free Philippines. Filipinos are free. This is according to President Benigno Aquino in his speech in yesterday’s celebration.
The celebration of Independence Day is always memorable. This is the day on which all Filipinos must reflect on the past, to think of their heroes and heroines who brought freedom, those whose sacrificed for us and made us dignified individuals. Our heroes remind us that this country is worth dying for and its future depends on us. What we are now is what our heroes died for.
Are we Filipinos living up to the expectations of our forgotten heroes? Are we living in a free country and think of the future of the Filipino children? Are we truly independent from the bondage of poverty, ignorance and colonialism? If we are honest to ourselves and realistic about the situation of this country we can not declare that we are independent people. We are still struggling to become a country free from poverty, ignorance and colonialism.
The Filipinos should keep in mind that there are many challenges which this country is confronted, however if we commit ourselves to do what is best for our people and work together to help develop this country then we can truly claim that we are independent people.
We will not also forget to honor our living heroes who continue to bring dignity to this country. These heroes are our parents and fellowmen who sacrifice abroad to give better future to their families here. Their financial support frees their families from the bondage of poverty and ignorance. They realize the dreams of their children.  But why is it that one can only be considered a hero after one dies? Why not honor the living heroes like the teachers, overseas contract workers and many others who, in their own little way, made small things great? They are our heroes too, according to Senator Chiz Escudero.
Every year the Independence day celebration is remembered with sentiments and heroism. I hope Filipinos will never forget that unless there is unity in us we will never experience the true meaning of independence no matter how grand we celebrate this occasion every year.
